As the New Year is upon us, all of us have our different resolutions for the New Year. But what is a New Years resolution?  It may be different for some people but generally speaking, it’s a promise that you make to yourself to start doing something good or stop doing something bad on the first day of the New Year. Some common ones are:

Improve a relationship, spend less time on social media, volunteer, travel, eat healthier, be smarter with money, drink less caffeine, learn a new skill, quit bad habits, and exercise more.

Now, how do we execute?

First step is looking back. What goals did you make last year? Did you accomplish them? Find the things you did good and the things you need to work harder at.

Second step is picking a new goal. Maybe one from the most common or maybe its one that no one knows about. This is for you!

Third step is the most important. Write it down! Take ten minutes and write what you want to get done and why you want it to get done. After you’ve written this new resolution, put it somewhere you will see it everyday. Seeing it everyday will remind you of why you are doing this.

January 1st is a new beginning. It gives everyone a new chance to become who they were meant to be, and that is the best version of yourself.  Don’t be defined by your past, you are the producer of your very own movie.

Welcome 2019, we have great plans for you!
