Last year these to teams played each other to decide who would win region. So this year its even bigger game playing each other for the first region game. Fremont is coming in to the game with a 6-4 record with playing some tough teams and having some good wins. Davis comes in at 6-5 having played one of the toughest preseason schedules in Utah. They are playing some good ball and coming off a good win by 9 at Copper Hills on Wednesday.

Brendon Redford (Senior Guard for Davis) said

“It is going to be a great and fun game. We will be prepared and ready to go Friday night. This where everything starts, everything that happened up to this point was to get us ready for this and for region.”

Fremont won both meetings against Davis last year both very close games. The Davis players are really excited and excited for the great atmosphere around them for this game. Dallin Hall for Fremont has been very impressive this year leading Fremont. Baylor Harrop has also been big for Fremont in helping them to their 6 wins.

Davis has some really good talent on their team starting with their seniors Tyson Garff and Brendon Redford. It has been a good team effort this year and they rally around each other.

Friday night should be a really fun game with ups and downs and lots of points should be scored all around with great talents on both sides
