You’ve probably heard of Shane Dawson and his up and coming documentary Youtube series. With 18 million subscribers and counting, Shane repeatedly defies the Youtube algorithm by uploading 45 min+ videos and still breaking #1 on trending more than once.

His most recent series was an eight-part “vlogumentary” about none other than Jake Paul. Paul and his brother, Logan, are perhaps the most controversial (and some would say cringe worthy) pair on the internet.

Shane went against what his fans told him, though, and delved into “The Mind of Jake Paul” in order to produce his series. He interviewed Paul’s friends, enemies, ex, and eventually the man himself, all with the question of whether or not Paul is a sociopath. The whole situation was dramatized, which was a smart move considering Shane’s younger audience.

The seasoned youtuber won the “Creator of the Year” award at the recent Streamys, and is set on the path to even more success and influence in the online community. After a few months of regrouping after the massive Jake Paul series, Shane says he’ll be back with more content that he can be just as proud of. His audience in Davis High and across the globe have much to look forward to from the creative powerhouse that is Shane Dawson.
