Avva Kinnersley, Reporter
Avva is not your typical high school senior. By day, they're a dedicated student in the video production class, but by night, they moonlight as a rogue time traveler (or at least that's what they claim). With an affinity for vintage Pentax cameras and a collection of obscure editing software that includes an ancient copy of "MovieMaker 2000," Avva approaches filmmaking like a mad scientist concocting potions in a lab.
Known for their eclectic style—think neon socks paired with a tinfoil hat—Avva has a knack for turning everyday moments into mind-bending narratives. Their latest project? A short film about a cat that accidentally discovers parallel universes through a malfunctioning toaster.
When not filming, you can find them scribbling plot ideas in their "Ideas for Time Travel" notebook or organizing spontaneous film screenings in the school’s basement (where they insist the acoustics are “otherworldly”). Avva believes that every video should have a twist ending, preferably involving a talking avocado.
With dreams of winning an Oscar before the age of 30, they also hope to prove the multiverse theory is real, one bizarre film at a time.
