The race was suspenseful. There were various teams that were gunning for the region title. Going through the first mile mark, the Davis girls were in about fourth place. This put a scare in Coach Timothy.

“I tried not to panic, but I couldn’t help it. The only think I could think about is getting into a position to motivate the girls that had worked so hard since the beginning of the summer.”

The girls started to move at about the have way mark. They pulled off the victory, with Ellie Lundgreen taking the victory, and becoming the individual Region Champion, but she was followed closely by the rest of her team.

The JV boys were lead By sophomore Hunter Kitchen. The JV boys won with an outstanding 15 points which is a perfect score. They had 16 guys in the top 18 finishers.
