Davis High football players express surreal feelings about Senior Night

On October 12, at 7pm the Davis High School Darts will celebrate their senior player as
they end their regular season playing the Clearfield Falcons at home.

Senior night, for as long as Davis high can remember, is one of the most memorable
games, as it honors and recognizes all the seniors who will be graduating and taking with them
the memories and lessons they learned throughout their years at Davis High.

The Davis Darts have had an amazing season, their region record, 4-1 and their overall
record, 6-3. “I’m super excited to end the season only losing one region game” states senior
player, Easton Baggett.

Most of the players on the team, like Baggett, started playing in little league and have
been playing together ever since. “It’s surreal knowing that I’ve been playing with these guys all
my life and its almost over.” Says Hank Wright regarding senior year football coming to an end.

For most of these boys its not just football that made these past few years so
memorable, it’s the friendships and the relationships with the coaches. “Coach Peery not only
taught me about football, but about life.” States Baggett, one of the powerhouse
starters for the Davis Darts.

“From the meetings to the practices, just getting to know them.” Says Wright. Its
obvious that all these years of football with their teammates and coaches will leave an impact
with them that will last their entire lives.

Clearfield’s record being 0-9, ending the regular season on a win doesn’t seem like an
impossible goal. after last week’s huge 47-21 win against weber on their turf the Darts have the
confidence and motivation to win this senior night game.
