Best Things to get your significant other this Christmas.

Preslee Scott, Writer

As the Christmas season gets closer and closer, many people are just starting to think about what to get their significant other for Christmas.

When buying a gift for the person you love, it does not always have to be difficult or stressful. Here are some local stores and businesses that can get your shopping done with ease.

If you haven’t already heard about Minky Couture, then now is the time. They are a luxury blanket company that sells some of the softest blanket ever. The Layton store is always having sales in their emails and Instagram for up to 50% off. Their blankets can be pricey but with their constant sales a Minky is the perfect gift to give your significant other

“I love Minky Couture and their blankets; they make the perfect gift for just about anyone.” Said Jeanie Watson

If you really are stressed about getting a significant other a gift, a gift card is always welcome. It might sound boring and lazy, but there are so many ways to get creative with it. Go to Station Park and go to all of their favorite places or just one and get them a gift card. You could then make a gift basket of all of their favorite things. Add in some of their favorite candy and drinks and you’re done. All of the hard stuff they get to pick out themselves and you are still technically the one who bought it.

“I like getting gift cards because then I have to spend it at that place, and I can pick out what I want and not feel bad about returning something they gave me that I didn’t like.” Said Frankie Scott.

Another thing to think about when buying a gift for your significant other is to think about what their love language is. If their love language is quality time, then take them on a special date. It doesn’t have to be expensive but make it personal.

“I would rather a thoughtful date over a physical gift any day.” Says Watson

Shopping for your significant other should be fun, not stressful. These are just a few of the many things give away this Christmas. Happy Shopping!
