Career Fair At Davis High

This year, the administration decided to start a tradition – the career fair. Teachers contributed people that they know with interesting careers to come and discuss what they do, and give students advice for the future.

Since it was the first, there were a few bumps, such as some presenters not showing up, and, if they did, they weren’t always on topic. However, there were also successful aspects to the career fair for students.

“I think reality kind of hit them that soon they will have to choose a job, and like kinda get an idea of what they like to do. I think it did help students,” Maddie Meyer, a senior said.

This is the beginning of a new tradition at Davis High and they are working to fix all of the kinks and make it very beneficial for the students.
