Spring Break Provides Much Needed Relief for Students

Every year, Spring break comes around, which signals one thing: vacations.

During spring break, around 1.5 million students go on vacation and spend a total of 1 billion dollars in the U.S., says Alyson Penn of Business Insider.

And with these vacations come the favorite spots to ‘vacate.’ The number ten vacation spot in the United States is Nashville Tennessee, Penn writes.

Numbers 9 through 2 include Dallas, Panama City Beach, Chicago, San Diego, New York, Denver, and New Orleans.

The number one vacation spot in the United States should come as no surprise: it is the Wonderful Las Vegas.

What may be surprising, however, is the amount of students from Davis High. Almost no one said that they would like to go to Las Vegas on their dream vacation.

“If I could go anywhere for Spring Break, I would go to Italy,” Connor Simonson said.

“I would probably go to the ocean,” Christian Smith said.

“I’d probably say Europe just because of all the history there,” Parker Kowal said.

So, while the rest of the world is going to Las Vegas, Davis High is going to other places.
