Davis High is announcing a new after school art opportunity: the drawing studios. These are run by our own art teachers who are excited to help students progress more in their skills.

“You know, I think it’s for any kid that loves to draw, and wants to practice their skills and get better,” new art teacher, Ms. Hartman says as she explains who should attend the studios.

Davis is full of talent and many kids are excited for the studios. “I just really like art. It’s always just been a better way then other things to express myself,” sophomore, Alyssa Hart said.

Ms. Hartman encourages all students wanting help or who feels like they want to be an artist to come to the studios. Dates and times for the studios can be found on Ms. Hartman’s webpage. There is also a huge studio party 2:30-9:00 p.m. on the 28th of October. There will be lasagna, short classes, and teachers helping. Students are welcome to come at anytime so drop by and help support the Davis High art program.
